About Us
Prestige Production LLC

Seen here is Michelle K. Sydney the writer and producer of the stage play. Michelle is a resident of Bloomfield, New Jersey who was born in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition, Michelle is a part-time school teacher, and attends the Montclair State University, as a Justice Studies major. She is also a proud mother of a beautiful daughter Sidelle, and a member of the Bloomfield Democratic Committee in which she holds the seat as a District Leader for the 3rd Ward 6th District where she resides.  Michelle is the founder of Prestige Production LLC a small Caribbean theater that she established in 2007. She has always possessed a passion for writing, and decided to construct playwrights. Michelle wrote plays for other groups in the past, and now she is ready to present her talent and art on stage with her playwright called "A Mother's Scorn".

In the above scene "Michelle" plays the mother Cassandra Samuels. Here she is distraught and angry about a terrible situation that occurred in her home.

I have always enjoyed writing, it is a talent that I possess, and I decided to put it to good use by constructing stage plays. In the past I have written plays for other people, and I think that it is my time to spread my wings into the theater arena by promoting my own work. I perceive the stage as a platform for demonstrating the art and talent of individuals who has the potential to make things look real in front of a live audience.

Acting is not just learning lines, it consist of being able to make your spectators believe that what they are seeing is real at that time. It combines deep involvement of your verbal, physical, mental, and psychological aspects when you are performing. People should be able to feel your every emotion whether it's pain, sorrow, happiness, love, anger, fright and the list goes on. If you the actor cannot execute such reality then you defeat the purpose of being on stage in the first place.

In addition, I love working with people who have blazing passion for acting. Anyone who places emphasis on punctuality, diligence, commitment, devotion and teamwork within a cast will always succeed through his or her acting career, and that is a fact that cannot be denied. Overall, my hope is to promote and expand local Caribbean theater throughout the United States and abroad. I want more than ever to bring people of many different ethnic groups under one umbrella of positive entertainment. Be sure to look out for my play  "A Mother's Scorn" coming soon to a location near you. Thank you for your tremendous support always.
