I was looking at your site and noticed the link to the Glen Ridge outrage about your stage play, and I was appauled by some of the comments made by those high society residents. I just wanted to say that I am a West Indian living in Glen Ridge for over 15 years, and have faced many difficult encounters with the racism here. I am a Financial Analyst, I own my own home, and I live an average upper-middle class life style. Despite my blessings as a black man I am aware of the constant fight and criticism that both you and I must deal with on a day-to-day basis. People here are outraged because this is a community of excellence and pride unlike Newark, and other low-income communities. Pursue your stage plays with full force, and do not be discouraged by confused individuals who have a natural gift in covering up their personal life stories. I will attend the show in New York, because I want to see the story that tells the truth about class in this country. best of luck to you and you cast. Mr. Upset

Hi Michelle: Girl my mouth dropped to the floor when I read the comments posted on Baristanet.com about your stage play. It is quite clear that most of the people that expressed their views were Caucasians stock in a web of denial, and reality up in Glen Ridge. First and foremost I want them to know that West Indians are some of the most intelligent people on God's earth. We embrace race issues far better than they do not forgetting that they were conditioned to believe that they are superior by skin color, while we are superior by intelligence, love for humanity, and respecting others no matter where they come from. I like your concept for the play, because you hit hard and factual issues that plague our society globally. lastly they made jokes about your accent, and language when they never even heard you speak. Talk about dumb and ridiculous idiots. I thought precious Glen Ridge was suppose to produce the best of the best or is the dumbest of the dumbest. Girlfriend, keep doing your thing, and all intelligent West Indians got your back. You can rest assure that I will be in the next show in New York, Love and unity always. Caribbean Pride Forever

My goodness the more I live in this country the more disgust I become. I read the comments on the baristanet site about your play, and I must tell you that racism was infested in the writings of most of the people. You guys are great, and the topic about sexual abuse was a good choice for a play. To many people have a phobia about facing the reality with sexual abuse, and Glen Ridge sure proved that point. Wow! the comments on the baristanet.com site is deep. I can feel the racism through the internet. You guys are great I saw the show and I loved it. Don't worry about those haters in Glen Ridge they are scared about reality. Newark, and other low-income communities need a brake. Shout out to Ms. Clara girl you are truly wonderful on stage. Also, to the rest of the cast you all are brilliant and talented on stage. Grace
