People could not stop talking about the show
15 Jul 2008

On Saturday, July 12, 2008 Prestige Production LLC presented their production "A Mother's Scorn" to excited spectators in the Bloomfield High School Auditorium in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The stage ambiance was graciously designed with glowing colors, beautiful and classy props which transformed the set into a real home. The actors were magnificent on stage and captured the audience attention throughout the entire show. A well written play based on sexual abuse in an affluent family's home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey reminded spectators that rich people suffer family violence just like low income families.

The show exhibited comedy, excitement, pain, anger, and forgiveness. Some well known audience members that attended were Senator Ronal Rice of the 28th District, Mr. Herman Hall of "Everybody's Magazine", X-Giants football star Mr. Larry "Bird" Holmes, and Mr. Lou Venenzia of the Bloomfield Board of Education just to name a few. Also, there was the Bloomfield Life press and, other magazine representatives from around the tri-state area. The show was hosted by Mr. Kevin Multon of "Jam Down Radio" who did a splendid job on stage. Thus, up and coming Reggae/R&B artiste Mr. Jeffery Spence from "Wren Entertainment" opened the show with beautiful ballads he too received standing ovation from the audience.

Overall, "A Mother's Scorn" was a success and the cast and crew proved that they possess the abilities to reach for the stars in the coming years with their phenomenal playwright and vibrant talent. Expect more performances coming soon in a venue near you. In the Spring of 2009 the show hits the road and will be appearing in New York City. The date and location will be disclosed to the public at a later time. "A Mother's Scorn" definitely inherited numerous fans after the show and by the look of things they have many more waiting patiently to see them perform again and again. Best of luck guys!
